Bill 18, Stronger Workplaces for a Stronger Economy Act, 2014
Bill 18 has undergone significant changes after the committee stage.
In effect, all the substantive provisions affecting the WSIA have been moved from the Act to a regulation making power: http://www.ontla.on.ca/bills/bills-files/41_Parliament/Session1/b018rep.pdf
The provisions regarding costs and premiums must now be implemented by government regulation. There is no timetable for implementing the regulations. It is totally up to the government when this will be done.
