Tunneling for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT project is underway and Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario are making progress with the bidding process for the bulk of the project. 

Bidders pre-qualified to deliver the Crosstown are in the process of putting their teams and bid proposals together and are looking to partner with organizations and associations to deliver it.

Hosted at the Toronto Region Board of Trade, Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario would like to invite you to the first Business-to-Business Networking Session for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT project (Crosstown) (invitation embedded and attached).

Our aim is to inform local organizations and associations about the project and to provide opportunities for local companies to connect with the companies pre-qualified to design, build, finance and maintain the Crosstown. 

The Networking Session will consist of presentations about the Crosstown, speeches about the project’s key objectives and opportunities for local organizations to interact with the pre-qualified bidders. The event will also feature one-on-one meetings between some organizations and representatives of the two bidding teams.

A second networking session will be organized for fall 2014 and it will be advertised widely to target not only large organizations but representatives from smaller organizations and local and regional businesses.
